Buy & sell
Buying and cashing out
Card purchases run through named partners — MoonPay and Coinbase — because your funds leave the app to them. You should know exactly whose hands they're in.
On-ramps
Two partners, both named
Partner
MoonPay
Buy with a card and receive crypto straight into your Smartable addresses. The fee MoonPay charges is shown before you confirm, in your currency.
Partner
Coinbase
Buy with a card through Coinbase, settled to the address Smartable shows you on screen. Their fee is disclosed on the confirm step, not buried in the rate.
Off-ramp
The way out is part of the design
Cashing out sends crypto back through the same partners and pays out to your own bank account. A wallet that only makes it easy to put money in is a trap with good design — the off-ramp screen sits next to the buy screen, not behind a support ticket.
Coverage
20 chains support buying
These are the networks where on-ramp purchases can settle today — drawn live from the chain registry.
Region availability
Card purchases are unavailable in some regions — the wallet itself still works everywhere.
Questions
Buying, answered plainly
What does it cost?
The partner's fee is shown before you confirm — as a number in your currency, alongside the amount of crypto you'll receive. If the quote isn't acceptable, walk away before the payment step.
Do I need an account with Smartable?
No — there is no Smartable account at all. The partners are regulated companies, so they may ask for their own identity checks (KYC) before processing a card payment.
Can I sell, not just buy?
Yes. The off-ramp sends proceeds to your own bank account via the same partners, so cashing out is a first-class flow, not something bolted on.
