The four routes
Picked by the pair, not by us
Same-chain swap
Both tokens live on the same EVM chain — say ETH to USDC on Ethereum. The quote is built across DEX liquidity via 0x, so you get the best executable price on that chain.
Solana swaps
Token to token on Solana, routed by Jupiter — the aggregator with the deepest view of Solana liquidity. Same quote screen, same net amount before you confirm.
Cross-chain, native assets
Real bitcoin for real ether — native assets on their own chains, with no wrapping and no synthetic IOU on the other side. THORChain settles the swap chain-to-chain.
Cross-chain, everything else
When the pair isn't two native assets — a stablecoin on one chain to a token on another — LI.FI aggregates the bridges and finds the route across them.

A quote is a complete statement, not an estimate with an asterisk. Before you confirm, the screen shows what you get, what it costs, and who is doing the work — the same four lines, whichever of the four routes was picked.

Why we show several routes
Best net wins. We don't steer.
Every swap request is quoted across all four providers at once, and the routes are compared on one number: the net amount that lands in your wallet after fees. The best net wins, and the rest are still shown so you can see what you turned down. We don't take a spread on the rate and we don't steer you toward a provider — the comparison is the product.
An honest note
Screenshots of live swap quotes need a funded account — the app currently photographs its empty state, so there is no quote screenshot on this page. When the funded capture exists, it replaces this note.
