Smartable has no AI of its own. You ask your own AI client, and it asks the wallet — only for what you have chosen to share. Both features below are in beta.
What an AI connection can see
Under Settings → AI connections → What AI may see, you choose:
- which wallet and account are visible;
- which balances and activity may be shared;
- when access ends.
An AI connection is read-only. It cannot send, swap, sign or approve anything, and nothing is shared until you choose it.
It never receives your recovery phrase, private keys, wallet password, PIN, biometrics or signing credentials.
The Agent Wallet
An Agent Wallet is a second wallet, made for an AI to work with:
- It has its own recovery phrase — not the one your main wallet uses. You write it down when you create it, and the wallet is not made until you have typed the words back correctly.
- It has its own money — only what you move into it. An AI connected there can reach nothing in your main wallet.
- You still confirm everything. Every operation an AI proposes reaches a review screen in Smartable before anything is signed.
Its limits start with everything switched off. You choose the networks, what the agent may see and propose, the addresses it may send to or give an allowance to, and the most it may move per asset in one operation. Limits expire after 24 hours and have to be granted again; the connection itself lasts 7 days.
In the current version, an agent cannot propose operations yet: such requests are refused before they reach you, whatever is switched on. Setting limits now means nothing is granted quietly when proposals start working.
Ending access
- Disconnect every AI in Settings → AI connections ends every connection on this phone at once.
- An Agent Wallet is backed up by its own recovery phrase. On a new phone, restore it with that phrase, and pair your AI tools again.
An AI can be wrong, or be led by what it reads. Nothing it suggests is a reason to skip the review.
What the app shows
- “Read-only. Nothing here can send, swap, sign or approve, and nothing is shared until you choose it.”
- “Smartable has no chat of its own. You ask your own AI client, and it asks this wallet.”
Security note
Never share your recovery phrase, private key, password or device PIN. Smartable will never ask for them or ask you to sign a transaction to “verify” or “recover” your wallet.
