Smartable does not run its own exchange. It asks venues for a price and shows you what they answer: 0x for swaps inside one EVM chain, Jupiter on Solana, THORChain for native cross-chain trades, LI.FI for bridged ones, and chain-native venues elsewhere.
When none of them answers, there is no quote to show, and the wallet says so rather than inventing one.
What usually fixes it
- Try a smaller amount. Thin liquidity prices small trades and refuses large ones.
- Change one side. Route through the chain's major asset — sell into the coin or a large stablecoin first, then into what you wanted.
- Wait. Routes come and go with liquidity and with venue outages.
- Check the pair is real. A token with no market anywhere cannot be priced by anyone.
Why we do not show a route that might work
A quote you cannot execute is worse than no quote: it moves money into a state where the trade fails and the fee is spent. The refusal is the wallet declining to spend your money on a guess.
